The carnosaurs chasing Espinoza on the cover (and pages 16-19 in
the issue) appear to be allosaurs.
As mentioned in the study of
Part 4, the stegosaurid that threatens Espinoza here looks
initially like it may be a
Tuojiangosaurus, though it is depicted with a club tail
which I am not aware of any stegosaurid possessing.
Additionally, the beast is much too large. Only a
Stegosaurus was as large as the stegosaurid seen here, but
the plates on its back do not conform to the Stegosaurus
species (not to mention the tail).
The small dinosaurs seen on pages 8 and 11 are not named. They
don't really look like compys, but I could be wrong.
The large vehicle parked next to the motorcycle that Espinoza
steals appears to be a military Humvee.
When are pages 21-22 supposed to be taking place? "One week
later," as stated in the previous scene on page 20? That would
mean that Dr. White held onto Cazares for an entire week before
taking him to be judged by the queen tyrannosaur of the island.
Why would she wait so long? It's seems more likely that these
last two pages are meant to be a flashback to one week earlier,
immediately after Espinoza's escape from the island.
Speaking of the queen tyrannosaur, even though she was depicted
correctly with two-clawed forelimbs in her previous appearance
"Dangerous Games" Part
2, she is shown here with three claws on Page 22!
What happened to the rest of Cazares' men on the island? Sure,
we saw some killed, but there must be more, and one in
particular is still seen alive on page 11, but he seems to
